Hi, my name is Korey Stites, head instructor of Personal Achievement Martial Arts. I wanted to take a second to tell you a bit about our school, and what you can expect when you walk through our doors for the first time.
But just to warn you – when you come, prepare to be hooked. People fall in love with our programs from day 1, and I’m sure you will too. Here’s a bit about why that happens…
Our expert martial arts staff is extremely, extremely, extremely dedicated to giving you the best possible experience you could ask for. They’re there for every question you need answered… every boost of motivation when challenges arise… and to instill in you the wisdom that’s been passed down through martial arts for thousands of years.
On the surface, our Wheat Ridge martial arts program might seem like learning how to defend yourself and your loved ones. In truth, martial arts is so much more. Through the effort, dedication, and practice you put into every class…
And last but not least, we know how to have fun! After all, too much work is simply off-putting. When an activity is all serious focus and hard work, it’s easy to burn out. Every class is filled with smiles and laughter. You’ll make friends, enjoy your time, and walk away happier than when you came.

About the Owners
Master Korey Stites is the owner and Head Instructor of Personal Achievement Martial Arts in Wheat Ridge, CO. He began his martial arts training as a young child in 1989. Over the last 24+ years he has trained in several styles of Martial Arts including Tae Kwon Do Karate, Kickboxing, Judo, Arnis, and Brazilian Jujitsu. Master Stites is a 5th Degree Black Belt in American Free Style Tae Kwon Do.
One of the things that sets Master Stites apart from many Martial Artists is that he has an extensive background in leadership and group motivation. He has earned a Master’s of Science degree in Leadership. Master Stites has also published a book to help parents teach their children about setting and achieving goals and success in their lives called “How to Raise Your Child for Success”.
Mrs. Sara Stites has an extensive educational background, and is currently a teacher in the Jeffco School District. In addition to her duties as a 5th grade teacher, Sara is the Program Director and instructor here at Personal Achievement Martial Arts in Wheat Ridge. With almost 10 years teaching and training in the Martial Arts Sara has earned her 3rd Degree Black Belt in American Free Style Tae Kwon Do, and has trained in several other styles of Martial Arts. She applies her educational training to her Martial Arts teaching and is a phenomenal instructor.
The staff of Personal Achievement Martial Arts is dedicated to making sure that anyone who trains in our school is successful no matter the program. We have confidence that anyone can accomplish their goals using the skills and techniques taught in our classes. We like to take all of our classes past punching and kicking, to teach leadership, confidence, and self-discipline, all while having a ton of fun.
The focus of our school is on kids and families. Our Wheat Ridge Martial Arts School specializes in Kids Martial Arts, Adult Martial Arts, and Cage Fitness. We work extensively on character development for the kids with a focus on school work and helping around the house. Personal Achievement Martial Arts has a large emphasis on fitness in all of our programs.

Kids Martial Arts
It's rare to find a program so fun that parents have to drag their kids away just to get them home. We see it all the time here. That's because our kids program is designed perfectly for kids: It provides them with constant challenge, so they never get bored. Fun & games let their playful sides emerge. Birthday Parties
Let your kid feel like a total rock star with our awesome kids birthday package. It's a fun, educational, structured birthday party involving martial arts... crazy-cool fun & games... pizza (of course!)... and more. Plus your kid will be the one-and-only star of the show! They'll help teach martial arts to their friends... cut the birthday cake with a real sword (carefully supervised of course!)... and break a wooden board with just their hands or feet (if they've reached this level in their training). Guaranteed to be a safe, fun, awesome experience for your child & all of his / her friends.
Summer Camps
A glimpse into our awesome summer camp: Smiling faces... kids focusing intently on learning martial arts techniques, and helping each other in partnered activities... applause and laughter as they accomplish feats that once seemed impossible... and pure goofiness as they play games and enjoy a bit of free time. Our martial arts summer camp has lots of fun, games and martial arts. But it's also about helping kids see that with the right attitude, discipline, and focus - they can accomplish anything.
